Brazilian Virgin hair
Brazilian virgin hair extension is made from hair that has never been treated with chemicals in any way. Typically, virginhairis gotten from donors who sell their hair for a certain price. While growing the hair, the donor never uses chemical products on their hair. That is why they last longer, have a unique and natural shine and luster, are stronger, and more durable.
To collect the hair, the donor holds the hair in a ponytail, the ponytailis held by hand, and the hair is cut off. The method of getting the hair ensures that all strands are going in the same direction as well as the cuticles of the hair strands.

Brazilian Remy hair
Brazilian Remy hair also has the cuticles well preserved, andthat is why they run in the same direction. The collection method of Remy hair can be the same as that of a virgin hair,or it can be from multiple donors. When the hair comes from various donors, usually from a temple, the hair strands are rearranged to ensure that all the cuticles are flowing in the same direction.
This is the reason why it does not differ so much from the virgin hair since the cuticles are well aligned in both. The difference comes in because Remy hair has been processed.
Brazilian Non-Remy
Brazilian Non-Remy hair is the hair type that is significantly affected by the method of collection. Because of the process of collection, it is substantially separated from the rest of the hair types. Non-Remy hair is collected from the floors of temples, salons and hair brushes. Because the strands of hair are randomly collected, you can never be able to tell the ends and the tips. As a result, the ends and the tips get mixed up. The consequence is that you will have cuticles running in different directions. This causes the hair to tangle very easy,and the hair becomes rough.
In a bid to enhance the hair, companies treat the hair with harsh chemicals that further damage the cuticles and can even cause them to shed off. To make things better, they apply silicon, but the trick never lasts.
Because of the damaged cuticles or lack thereof, Non-Remy human hair fails to have the perfect natural features of human hair that Brazilian virgin and Brazilian Remy have. They shed and tangle; they are dry, they do not have a natural shine, and do not last long.
