1. Keep your ears covered

2. Look to drink some hot liquids

Initially, when we wake up out body is warm and not in harmony with the cold outside. Therefore, it is highly advisable that you take in some amount of hot drinks like a cup of coffee or tea to increase the temperature and thus give the body a slightly more time to adjust to the cold outside. This seriously helps!


3. Keep yourself protected to the cold

The chill of the air is something that does not any invitation to visit your house. It will not knock at your door or give you a call before entering. Thus, one should take the efforts to seal all the way that will allow huge amounts or cold air to enter your room! In places, where the snowfall is of high levels, it is advisable to keep on the heaters on and when going out, cover yourself up with the best pullovers that you have. If you are one of those people who has work 10 am to 6 pm, such precautions are extremely necessary to stay healthy.

4. Avoid contact with a person caught in cold

We all know the fact that cold is a disease caused by virus and it spreads in the air. More often than not, you will find that people suffering from cold will sneeze and this releases many germs in the air. People suffering from cold are advised to cover up their mouths when coughing or sneezing and others must avoid direct confrontation in such situations. The victims of cold can also use the masks in order to prevent the germs.
